MANAGEMENT ROLE IN AGRICULTURAL CONTRACTING BUSINESS

Motivated person required to join the management team in a substantial agricultural contracting business close to Bristol Airport. Our reputation has been built on quality, service and investment in new technology backed by a team of professional operators.

The Farm Services Manager will manage our workforce and our clients’ needs so if you:

  • have experience of working in Agricultural Contracting or a similar rural/commercial service industry
  • have excellent organisational, planning and leadership skills
  • an ability to coordinate staff on-site/in-field
  • and can communicate well with farming, equine & commercial clients

Our ideal applicants will:

  • have high self-motivation, initiative and the ability to work as part of a team
  • be comfortable working in a demanding, but rewarding, rural environment
  • have an understanding of modern agricultural machinery and field operations for arable and livestock enterprises
  • be able to demonstrate flexibility and a commitment to work extended hours when necessary
  • take pride in delivering quality service whilst maximising productivity of machinery and operators
  • be adaptable to meet a wide variety of daily operational challenges
  • have knowledge of relevant Health and Safety requirements and be capable of producing relevant documentation

Applicants must:

  • have a full driving licence with no more than 6 points, and preferably have passed their tractor test and/or trailer towing (B+E) test [if applicable]
