Following one of the speakers having to apologise for Wednesday’s National Farm Management Conference due to a family matter Cedric Porter has agreed to speak at the conference giving a paper on ‘World Agricultural Prospects the road to 2050’. This paper fits perfectly with the conference theme of ‘UK World Class Farming/World Class Food’.
Cedric will be well known to many of you being an independent agricultural supply chain consultant. He provides agricultural information and support to a range of clients including Marks & Spencer, Massey Ferguson and the RSPB. He also produces a weekly market briefing for the international potato industry. He has edited a number of agricultural magazines in the UK and the Netherlands. In 2012 he was the Chairman of the Oxford Farming Conference and since then he has been appointed a director of LEAF (Linking Environment And Farming).
