The Institute of Agricultural Management - Promoting professional management in agriculture
Who Can Join?
Farmers, farm managers and others engaged in management in agriculture and associated rural businesses can apply for membership. Persons in other groups associated with management in agriculture in its widest sense, such as consultants, advisors, academics research workers etc are also welcome.
Categories of membership
There is a distinction between statutory and non-statutory grades of membership. Statutory membership requires an application to the professional affairs committee of the Institute. It is the recommended route for those wishing to develop their managerial profile and status. As statutory membership involves a scrutinising process, successful applicants are entitled to use the appropriate letters after their name.
The Institute financial year (for membership fees) runs from 1st of July to 30th June.
